For over a century, apricots, pears, and cherries have flourished in the sunny orchards of Washington State. Born of the same perfect growing conditions, this Cabernet Sauvignon echoes of earth and aromas of black currant, cocoa and spice. Beautifully balanced, its rich flavors are tempered by grace and a stunning finish of lavender and herbs.
Our 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon was gently coopered in both Hungarian (75%) and American (25%) oak for an average of 19 months. The average age of the oak employed was 1.1 years.
