Since this is the first Cabernet Sauvignon we have made since our first vintage in 2004, we knew it had to be special. The fruit was pulled from a single block of the Les Collines Vineyard in Walla Walla Valley and carried the terroir of Washington’s most famous grape growing region. This wine echoes of earth and aromas of black currant, cocoa and spice. Beautifully balanced, its rich flavors are tempered by grace and a stunning finish of lavender and herbs!
This Cabernet Sauvignon spent 16 months in EBC new American oak, accentuating notes of vanilla and mild spice. The Pepper Bridge Vineyard Merlot spent 17 months in two year old Hungarian puncheons which gently age the wine adding a unique softness and finesse.
