2004 Cabernet Sauvignon

A medium-bodied Cabernet with a brooding and Smokey nose that opens up to ripe red fruits on the tongue with just the right blend of structure, oak and fruit that give way to a clean finish.
Harvested late in the season but with relatively low Brix, our 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon was built from the ground up to be a lighter style of Cabernet. A ten day maceration without the use of enzymes followed by a gentle press kept the extraction low. Cooperage: Aged fourteen months in 100% new oak: 60% Hungarian, 30% American and 10% French.
