2005 Sangiovese

Light perfume, earth & spiced wood lead to ripe fruits and berries on the nose and carry over to the palate with a perfect balance of structure and acidity. Finishes with candied fruit and plum.
Winemaking: Harvested from the Wahluke Slope, our 2005 Sangiovese exhib its ripe berries on the nose and the food-friendly acidity that has made Sangiovese famous. After aging in oak, we judiciously blended it with Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon to round out the mouthfeel and provide just enough structure and tannin to produce a complex and nuanced wine. Drink now through 2015. Cooperage: 6 Months in one year old American and Hungarian Oak
