2018 Mourvedre
A luscious wine that shines with the personality of the terroir of the Stillwater Creek Vineyard! This blend offers aromas of black plum, lavender and brown spice. Rich on the palate with chewy tannins, flavors of ripe fruit are supported by notes of earth, mocha, and a stunning finish.
The Mourvèdre was gently coopered for twenty-six months in 50% three year old American pak to maintain as much varietal character as possible and 50% one year old Hungarian oak to lend a Smokey, earthy element to the final blend. The Syrah was aged in a combination of French and Hungarian oak for twenty-five months.
